Ginger Gemma's Story

Hi, my name is Ginger Gemma, and I am a gorgeous female Pomeranian who is 7 years old and weigh in at 9 lbs. I was breeding dog and despite my hard life my foster Mom says I am a gem of a dog. I have learned to be the puppy I was never allowed to be. I love to play with toys and to play with my foster Mom's dog. I am doing reasonably well on leash walking, and I do well on car rides, with reinforced encouragement I have done really well with house manners. I am NOT a fan of the crate (can you blame me I lived my life in a pen)? I can be quite vocal when I have to go in the crate. Otherwise, I am quiet and very ladylike. I have 7 years of love built up ready to share with you. I love to shower my foster Mom with love. I also love to cuddle on the sofa or in bed with my human. A fenced yard to run and explore in a must for me as is a companion small dog. I would probably best in adult home or with older children as I have no experience with curious little ones. For the Love of Poodles Rescue Richmond VA's Adoption Policy
We do not adopt outside of 3-hour drive of Richmond, VA adoption fee is $350.00+ depending on the size of the dog. This includes spay or neuter, shots, heart worm test and microchip. We rescue for life so you must agree that if for any reason you cannot keep or care for the dog you will return her to our rescue.
