Ginger's Story

NOTE: We update our posts daily. If you are reading this, we are still accepting applications. We will NOT respond to "is she available" inquiries.

Meet Ginger, our beautiful resilient Baldwin Park shelter survivor. Her days of living in a car are long gone. She made it out of the shelter just in time and now she’s excited to find her forever home.

Ginger looks to be a Papillon/Spaniel mix. She’s about 3 years old and weighs about 17 lbs. She is pure joy! Loves to play, loves toys, loves to fetch, loves to play tug-of-war, and pretty much anything that involves a toy or engagement.

Ginger is great with other dogs and cats! She also does well with children and is shy with adults at first, but as soon as she warms up, she lets her guard down, and the love fest begins.

Ginger is very energetic. She loves to play! She loves to zoom around and play with the pack. She loves to chase and be chased; she’s so much fun! She even likes to swim!

Since she used to live in a car, she’s naturally great in car rides; she really enjoys them. She’s very sweet and affectionate. She loves to cuddle and snuggle with her humans. She’s also very smart, and she’s treat motivated. She’s a spunky little girl with a heart of gold and full of life. We are happy to help her find her forever family. We know she will bring them so much joy.

If you are interested in her, please submit an adoption interest application.
