Ginger is a 9-year-old Shepherd mix who came to the shelter due to concerns about food guarding. Here at the shelter, we’ve gotten to know her as an incredibly sweet, gentle, and mellow girl with a playful side that still shines through.<br/><br/>While Ginger enjoys a calm lifestyle, she’s always happy to chase a toy—especially if it squeaks! Those squeaky toys bring out her joyful personality, and we absolutely love watching her light up. She does well around other dogs, particularly larger dogs, and enjoys peaceful canine company.
