Ginger's Story
Ginger's elderly owners were no longer able to care for her. A family took temporary custody of her in the effort to find her a new forever home.

This is what that family has to say about Ginger:

Ginger is a sweet, playful one-year-old Golden Retriever mix (possibly mixed with a Husky). Ginger is approximately 1 year old. She is about 40 pounds and is already spayed.

Personality & Temperament: Ginger is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves being petted, enjoys playtime, and is great with kids. She does well with other dogs and genuinely enjoys being around people. She also loves going on hikes and would make a wonderful companion for an active individual or family.

Ginger is at a great age — past the tiny puppy stage but still young, energetic, and eager to bond. With consistency and love, she has all the potential to be an amazing lifelong companion.

Let’s help Ginger find her forever family!

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter.

Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.

Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.

Pet Adoption League

1526 N.
