Ginger's Story
Ginger is a special girl. She came to us by way of a former foster family. They were trying to keep her safe till a rescue could take her and she got out and was hit by a car. 4 Paws Farm took her to the orthopedic vet. They evaluated her injuries and determined the trauma was a compressed spinal disk. She had surgery and we did not know how or if she would recover use of her hind legs...well she healed relatively fast. Ginger never missed a beat. She did end up with a wonky leg and walk, but she does get around fine. She can still get out of a fence if she wants. She is high energy, funny and smart. She needs a family that can give her lots of attention and exercise. She does ok with other dogs with proper introduction and I would not have her with cats. She is crate, potty and leash trained.
