Ginger #38's Story
Ginger #38 is a 2.5-year-old purebred chocolate Labrador Retriever weighing 45 pounds of pure sweetness. Once known only as #1037 at the breeder, she now finally has the beautiful name she deserves. Ginger is a gentle, sweet girl who can be a little shy when she first meets new people—but give her a bit of time and her playful, loving personality begins to shine. She has lived with other dogs her entire life and does well with canine companions. She is currently blowing her coat, but we’re taking care of that. Ginger is also new to leash walking, as she’s never experienced it before, so she’ll need a patient family willing to help her learn. Because she’s never had the chance to truly run and explore, a fenced yard would be ideal, giving her the freedom she’s been missing. Ginger doesn’t ask for much—just a family willing to give her kindness, patience, and love. She’s ready for a fresh start and dreams of a home where she can finally curl up on a soft bed of her own.Can you open your heart and home to Ginger and give her the better life she deserves?

For additional information about Ginger #38 please email Ann Hilchey: ann.hilchey@labs4rescue.org

Ginger #38 is being fostered in Connecticut.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: We receive many questions about our adoption process from potential adopters, most of which can be answered by viewing our "Adopt a Lab" page on our full-service website, (https://labs4rescue.com/adopt).
