Ginger

Say hello to WAGS' newest pup, Ginger!! Ginger is an Australian Cattle Dog mix; her mother was full ACD, and dad is unknown, but we think she could also have Pit and Shepherd. She is spayed and current on vaccinations. Ginger came to us after her owner passed away, so she's had a bit of a sad start. She is a really good girl though- very loving, HOUSETRAINED, and wants a hug from everyone she meets. She is very much still in the "puppy phase," with a lot of energy to burn. She is very playful, and especially enjoys a tennis ball as well as soft toys. She will need an active home with both physical and mental stimulation. Ginger already knows "Sit," "Paw," and is working on "Down." She is very food-motivated which helps with training. She has been working with our dog trainer Casey to learn basic obedience skills, as well as socializing with fellow W.A.G.S. dogs! We believe she would love to have another dog playmate, but will take time to warm up to them, so a slow introduction would be best.
