Ginger's Story

Say hello to WAGS' newest pup, Ginger!! Ginger is a 9 month- 1 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix; her mother was full ACD, and dad is unknown, but we think she could also have Pit and Shepherd. She is spayed and current on vaccinations.

Ginger came to us after her owner passed away, so she's had a bit of a sad start. She is a really good girl though- very loving, HOUSETRAINED, and wants a hug from everyone she meets. She is very much still in the "puppy phase," with a lot of energy to burn. She is very playful, and especially enjoys a tennis ball as well as soft toys. She will need an active home with both physical and mental stimulation.

Ginger already knows "Sit," "Paw," and is working on "Down." She is very food-motivated which helps with training.

Ginger seems unsocialized with other dogs, but she is curious, so with the right pairing and a slow introduction, she should be dog-friendly.

Don't miss this absolute lovebug who only wants to sit in your lap- call Wheeling Animal Hospital and Pet Resort at (847) 520-7387 to set up a Meet-and-Greet and get to know her!!
