Ginger's Story
Ginger was found as a stray alongside her mother. She is wonderful with other dogs and must go to a home with a playful resident dog who can match her pace. She adores toys, loves her daily walks, and is making good progress on her leash manners. She is affectionate and likes to stay close, though for Ginger, affection is a team sport. Cuddling is nice. Doing something together is better.<br/>Adopters should know a few things up front. Ginger is not house trained at all, so her family will be starting from page one with patience and a consistent routine. She also gets carsick, even on short drives, which makes a towel on the seat and a cracked window wise companions for the ride home. This is not a lap dog, and she needs an active household ready to meet her exercise and play needs every day. She does settle as evening comes, and the effort pays off in a dog who always wants you in on the plan.
