Ginger's Story
Ginger is the perfect blend of affectionate and adventurous - a loyal sidekick who's always up for a walk, hike, or car ride with her people. Found as a stray alongside her sister (who's since been adopted), Ginger has been thriving in her foster home with three dog friends. She's definitely a "girls' girl" and loves spending time with her foster sisters most of all.

Ginger is crate trained, potty trained, and walks beautifully on leash. She knows her basic cues like sit, down, wait, and has a solid recall. She's a medium-energy dog who enjoys structure, activity, and being included in whatever her people are doing.

She can be a little unsure in new environments, so she'd do best with another confident dog or with owners who are engaged and patient while she settles in. Ginger has a higher prey drive, so she's not a fit for homes with cats, and would do best with kids over 8.

At around 2 years old and 50 pounds, Ginger is athletic, intelligent, and eager to please. She loves a good bone, exploring the outdoors, and being part of the pack.

Ginger is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program. All iRehome dogs are being rehomed by their current owner. All iRehome behavioral and medical information is provided by the dog's current owner. TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with the current owner prior to completing the adoption process.
