Gilbert

Gilbert is a wonderful, perfectly sized terrier mix who is ready for his fresh start. He is a local surrender who had been living with his brother from the same litter. Unfortunately, the pair developed littermate syndrome, and Gilbert found himself constantly overwhelmed and getting pushed around. Now that he is with us, he's thriving on his own and showing everyone what a sweet, affectionate boy he truly is. This handsome guy absolutely loves his walks--the longer, the better! Gilbert will happily trot right alongside you for as far as you're willing to go. He enjoys the company of most dogs, has been around kids 3+ and done well, and overall has a gentle, friendly nature. Gilbert rides in the car like a champ as long as you drive smoothly--if you're a bit of a "creative" driver, he may get a little carsick, so consider that his polite reminder to take the turns a bit slower.
