I’d had a lot of change in my little life, and I wasn’t sure if people were safe yet. But my foster mom was gentle, patient, and kind. She said “hi, beautiful girl,” and meant it. And slowly, my walls came down — one belly rub at a time.<br/><br/>Now, I’m the happiest, silliest girl around. I love to cuddle close at night, so close you can feel my tiny heartbeat against you. Every morning, I open my eyes, wag my tail, and ask for scratches, pets, and a reminder that I’m a very good girl. When you say it, I believe you — and then I do my “morning zoomies,” just to show you how excited I am to start the day by your side.<br/><br/>I adore walks (I practically leap into my harness) and love meeting other dogs. Toys are fine, but honestly, people are better. Talking to me, laughing with me, just being together — that’s my favorite thing in the world. I’ve learned what love feels like, and I want it forever.<br/><br/>I’m proud to say I’m a mostly well-mannered lady — I potty outside (just don’t forget to take me!), and I can stay home alone for a few hours without worry. I like soft beds, warm blankets, and cozy naps, preferably near someone I love. I’ve even learned to climb onto the big bed by myself — because that’s where my heart feels safest.<br/><br/>My new family will need to be patient as I learn new routines and continue to trust. I’m still getting used to brushing (my coat is thick and gorgeous, but I’m not quite spa-day-ready yet). All I need is someone who understands that love takes time, but once it blooms, it’s forever.<br/><br/>Oh — and one more thing. I really do need another friendly dog in my new home. Having a canine buddy gives me comfort and confidence. I love to play, nap, and explore alongside another dog, and it helps me feel safe when things are new.<br/><br/>I’m not perfect, but I promise I’ll make you laugh every day.
