GiGi is a highly empathetic, true “man’s best friend” kind of dog! She is a smart, goofy,  personality-packed gal who cracks her foster family up on a daily basis with her antics - she bonds strongly with her people and is one of those dogs who appears to understand every word you say! Her intelligence and training are exemplary; not only does she know all the basic commands but her foster mom took full advantage of her big brain and started her on agility work, scent work, and more advanced obedience skills. She is fully potty trained, crate trained, great in the car, and sleeps an enviable 11-ish hours at night.

We’re calling her an “adventurous introvert”… Although she loves exploring the great outdoors with her people, she would rather not be forced to socialize with others of her species please! Quite frankly, I think there are a lot of us humans who feel the same way. She is a frequent visitor to her local walking trails and nature preserve; her absolute favorite outdoor adventures involve a stream that she can splash in! We are looking for an adopter who can sympathize with her introverted nature… if the thought of a loud crowded bar makes you run for the hills, you can probably understand how she feels! If your ideal pet is a smart, responsive dog, who will prefer your companionship over anything else, GiGi will exceed your expectations!
