Gigi

Gigi is a petite 8–10 month old female Cattle Dog with an incredibly sweet, gentle personality. At around 30 pounds, she’s a great size with a whole lot of heart packed into her little frame.<br/><br/>To know Gigi is to not be able to take your eyes off her. This girl is beautiful, but there is something especially endearing about her sweet nature. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and wears her heart right on her paw.<br/><br/>Gigi can be shy with new people, but she is learning every day that the world is full of good ones. She’ll gently take treats from your hand and sometimes look to her foster for a little reassurance before deciding everything is okay.<br/><br/>She also has a wonderfully affectionate side. When Gigi went to the vet with a Southpaw Rescue volunteer she barely knew, she wanted to sit on her lap for much of the visit and find comfort in being close. She was also happy to receive attention from the people around her.<br/><br/>Gigi is absolutely wonderful with the two young boys in her foster home and has formed a sweet bond with them. She is also good with other dogs and has all the potential of a young dog with so much life still ahead of her.<br/><br/>What Gigi needs most is a family of her own. A forever home will give her the time, consistency and security to continue building her confidence while getting to be what she already is: a sweet young dog who deserves to be loved for exactly who she is.<br/><br/>Gigi is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
