Gigi is a petite 8-10 month old female Cattle Dog with a sweet, affectionate personality and a heart that is really starting to shine.<br/><br/>Gigi can be a little shy when she first meets someone, but her natural instinct is to connect with people. When she went to the vet with a Southpaw Rescue volunteer she didn't really know well, Gigi spent the entire visit wanting to sit on her lap, soak up some love, and find comfort in being close to a person. She was happy to accept affection from everyone who wanted to give it to her.<br/><br/>That tells you a lot about Gigi. Even in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by new people and new experiences, she was looking for love.<br/><br/>She is also absolutely wonderful with the two young boys in her foster home and has formed a sweet bond with them. Watching her become more comfortable and come out of her shell has been incredibly rewarding. She is discovering that people can be safe, kind, and a whole lot of fun.<br/><br/>At around 30 pounds, Gigi is a great size—small enough to easily take along on adventures, but with plenty of personality packed into her petite frame. And because she is still young, she has so much life ahead of her.<br/><br/>Gigi is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she is ready to find a family of her own.<br/><br/>Gigi doesn't need someone to feel sorry for her. She needs someone who sees the sweet, affectionate girl standing in front of them and is willing to give her the patience and encouragement to keep coming out of her shell.
