Gigi's Story

Im asking everyone to please read this and, if nothing else, share it.

My dear friend and business partner recently received the devastating news that her doctor has given her about a year to live. On top of trying to process something no one should ever have to hear, shes facing another unimaginable heartbreak: saying goodbye to the two dogs she loves more than anything. they can be adopted TOGETHER OR SEPARATELY

She has to move into an assisted living facility by August 15th and unfortunately, they cannot go with her.

Her only wish is to know that her babies are safe, loved, and surrounded by kindness before she makes this transition. If we can give her that peace of mind, it would mean more than words can express.

GiGi is a sweet little black Chihuahua, 12 years old and just 8 pounds. Shes tiny, gentle, and looking for a warm lap to call her own.

Luke is a handsome 9-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing 18 pounds. Hes a lovable little chonk who could benefit from shedding a few pounds but hes full of personality and love.

While they can absolutely be adopted together, they are not strongly bonded, so they can also be placed separately if that helps them find wonderful homes. Of course, keeping them together would be beautiful, but our priority is making sure each of them has a safe, loving family.

These arent just dogs looking for a home. Theyre the last pieces of comfort for someone whose world has been turned upside down.

If youve ever thought about opening your heart to a senior dog, this is your chance to change not only their lives—but to bring immeasurable peace to a woman facing the hardest chapter of her life.

Please help us find GiGi and Luke the loving homes they deserve before August 15.

If you can adopt, foster, or even just share this post, you could make all the difference.

**This is a courtesy post - please reach out to Alexis for more info / inquiries - 213-925-7153
