Meet GIDGET

Gidget is all legs which makes her vertical bounce/jump quite impressive as well as her speed. Gidget likely would never have been caught had it not been for her getting swiped my a car leaving her temporarily unable to use her rear legs and allowing our dog warden angels to scoop her to safety. Gidget spent a few days in the hospital before moving to foster care where she now is thriving. Gidget loves dogs (and cats) of similar size but can become overwhelmed and snappy with dogs larger than her. She panics when outside alone and can and will escape through the smallest of holes in a yard so should be considered a flight risk!! She is nervous with new people and definitely more cautious with men over women but once she warms up, she just wants to cuddle. She is crate trained and working on housebreaking. She loves her dog beds and is a great traveler with that added security. Gidget is approximately two years old, 15lbs and we suspect her to be an Italian Greyhound and Chihuahua and Rat Terrier Mix based on her features. Adoption fee $300

****A home with older children that make sure doors are secured is best for GIDGET due to flight risk

Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable. Adoption fees vary based on age, needs and sponsoring.
