<p data-start="89" data-end="130">Meet Gidgee, the beautiful Heeler!</p><br/><br/><p data-start="132" data-end="383">This sweetheart was found wandering in an area where she wasn't welcome, simply because she was searching for food. Thankfully, a kind person took her in and contacted us. After trying to find her owner, it became clear that Gidgee had been abandoned.</p><br/><br/><p data-start="385" data-end="465">Lucky for her, we had a Heeler-loving foster family ready to open their home!</p><br/><br/><p data-start="467" data-end="612">Gidgee is about a year old and weighs 47 pounds. She is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped, dewormed, and scheduled for her spay.</p><br/><br/><p data-start="614" data-end="816">She's a little shy at firstwhich is completely understandable given her pastbut her foster family is showing her that not all humans are unkind. Slowly but surely, Gidgee is learning to trust again.</p><br/><br/><p data-start="818" data-end="970">She does well with other dogs, but she does not enjoy car rides. She loves the comfort of a soft bed in her kennel, where she feels safe and secure.</p><br/><br/><p data-start="972" data-end="1142">Gidgee would make a wonderful companion for a family with another dog who needs a friend, or for an experienced Heeler-loving home that understands this incredible breed.</p><br/><br/><p data-start="1144" data-end="1398">Heelers are known for being loyal, intelligent, and active dogs. As a herding breed, they need plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation.
