Gibbs's Story

Big paws, big personality, and an even bigger future ahead!

Gibbs is a female puppy, estimated to be around 5 months old. She arrived at CCHS as an unclaimed stray alongside her brother, Goff. Unfortunately, we don’t know her breed or much about her past, but we have a feeling this girl is going to make someone one heck of a best friend!

A little about Gibbs:
Friendly and social! Gibbs loves meeting people and making new friends.
Playtime is her specialty! She’s a happy, playful puppy who enjoys having fun and experiencing the world around her.
Eager to learn! Gibbs is ready to soak up new experiences. She’s still figuring out this whole leash-walking thing, and our staff are working with her daily to help her get the hang of it.

She has encountered other dogs without any issues, but a meet-and-greet is required for any potential canine siblings.
BIG GIRL IN THE MAKING! Gibbs is already almost 40 pounds, and she’s nowhere near done growing! If you’re looking for a smaller dog, this girl probably isn’t going to be it.

Like any young puppy, Gibbs will need help learning all the basics, including potty training, leash walking, basic commands, and everyday manners. She’ll need consistency, patience, positive reinforcement, and a family willing to put in the time to help her become the best dog she can be.

The good news? She’s at the perfect age to start learning! With the right guidance, she has so much potential ahead of her.

Gibbs is currently awaiting her spay surgery, but that doesn’t mean she has to wait to meet her potential forever family! We’re ready to start scheduling meet-and-greets so she can begin making connections with the people who might just be her happily ever after.

Gibbs came to us as a stray, but she doesn’t have to spend her puppyhood growing up in a shelter. She deserves a family to teach her, play with her, love her, and watch her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.
Could Gibbs be your new adventure buddy?

Applications are being accepted! Come meet this sweet, goofy girl and see if she’s the missing piece your family has been waiting for!
