Gi Gi's Story

Gigi is a super sweet and loving dog. She is playful and will sit perfectly still to be loved. When she is not being loved on, Gigi is a very active and energetic girl who would be the perfect companion for anyone that has an active lifestyle! She would be a great hiking or running partner. Gigi is good with dogs she knows at the rescue. It takes time for her to adjust to new dogs, but it is possible. She has a high prey drive and would probably be a great herding dog for a sheep farm! She does not seem to care for younger kids and this may be from her lack of socialization.

Our adoption process is designed to be thorough, ensuring every dog and adopter have the best chance of creating their happily-ever-after story. The first step is to browse our website and identify a dog you feel would be a great match for you. Once you’ve made your choice, please complete our online application. After receiving your application, we will review it and reach out with the next steps.(not all applications will be approved for the dog applied for) Next steps may include a visit to our facility to meet the dog. Depending on the situation, a home visit may also be arranged. Our goal is to prioritize the happiness and safety of both our adopters and the dogs entrusted to our care. If a dog is adopted, the adopter is required to sign a contract in which they can get a full refund if the dog does not work out in 30 days or less. They are required at any point that they can no longer keep or care for the adopted dog, to return the dog to our rescue only. Transfer or sale of the dog is not allowed. We are always here to support our adopters and reach out to make sure they are living their best life together. The adopter promises to take great care of the dog, including enrichment, veterinary and preventative care, and regular exercise, as well as an appropriate and safe living environment.
