Ghost's Story

Meet Ghost! This smaller sized 2 year old has quickly become a volunteer favorite due to his fun loving personality and his zest for life. He is an adventurous guy that would be up for long walks, jogs, hikes and playtime.

Ghost is smart, and would excel with training and ways to keep that mind engaged. He does well on leash with consistency and direction. He is learning that 4 paws on the ground is the best way to get a reward and is very eager to please.

Ghost does love to play with toys, and enjoys a good game of fetch. He also loves to play tug with a tug toy, which can turn that energy into fun time, and a challenge to engage that hard working mind of his. He has loved meeting new people at adoption events and giving out kisses! He is microchipped, neutered, and potty trained...all signs that he l clearly had a loving home of his own once before.

He has met other shelter dogs in the yard, but has an energy level another dog would have to understand. This is why we require a meet /greet with any resident dog currently in a home. We also feel a cat-free home with a dog his size or larger would be best.

To set this guy up for success to start his new life, a home with respectful kids a tad older would be a better fit. If you can give Ghost the forever home he deserves, come on down and meet him. You won’t be disappointed with this guy as your new best friend.
