MACC PACK IS SPONSORING MY ADOPTION/LICENSE FEE THROUGH 1/3/26! Housebroken: Yes Lived with Dogs: Yes Lived with Cats: Ok with cats in previous home Lived with Kids: Yes Free roamed in house when left alone Reason at shelter: Not allowed in new housing Profile: Ghost came in as an owner surrender due to housing. He has a home history of being good with other dogs (has lived with one previously) and cats. Has been around kids of various ages. Can be energetic when it's nice outside but doesn't like cold or rain. His owner did tell us he is allergic to chicken and pork, he will need food/treats/etc without any of these ingredients lifelong! Ghost does get anxious in the car, at the vet, and when getting ready to go to the vet. He is an all around good boy and wants to be part of everything his family is up to. *Please note that all information is from this pet’s prior home history and/or experiences in the shelter. Minneapolis Animal Care and Control's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are being done by appointment only at this time. All appointments are made in the order we receive the request. Call 612-673-6222 to request an appointment to ensure the quickest response. To adopt a pet from MACC, you must: Complete an application Pay an adoption fee Be at least 18 years of age Have a current picture identification that shows your age and current address Purchase a pet license if a resident of the City of Minneapolis Commit to behavior training, providing medical care, and giving humane treatment and companionship throughout the life of the animal Check your lease to be sure you can have pets and that there are no size, weight, or breed limitations. MACC reserves the right to deny any adoption application. MACC does not hold animals and adopts on a first come, first serve basis. No partial payments or down payments are accepted. Although all animals are given an exam prior to becoming available for adoption, MACC cannot guarantee that these animals have not been exposed to an illness prior to coming to our shelter.
