This young lady was found as a stray, wandering the streets of California. Now, at 15 years young, Gertie is ready for a calm and loving home. Despite being in her golden years she still has quite the pep in her step! She takes a minute to show her little piggy personality around new friends but shes good with people and other low-energy dogs & cats. Paw Promise Animal Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy

All prospective adopters are required to complete an adoption application or share some details about themselves. Following this, we will arrange a meet & greet between the family and the pet. A mandatory home check will then be conducted. Once the home check is complete, an adoption agreement must be signed. Adoption fees range from $50 to $400 and must be paid when the adoption is finalized. Each adoption includes a 2-week trial period. If things don’t work out, the adoption fee is fully refundable. After the 2-week trial, while we are always happy to take back any of our dogs, the adoption fee will have already been invested in the care of other animals.
