Meet Gertie
Gertie loves her people. She was found as.a sray two years ago. She could barely stand and it looked like she had recently weaned pups. She had muscle spasms from her jaw to her front paws. It was believed that she had survived distemper. Her tongue shows previous damage from opening and closing her jaw all the time. Her teeth are not the regular dogs teeth.
One month ago she stopped twitching. She is now full of energy and wants to run round. She has a Frenchie scream that gets everyone’s attention.
She is an extreme bully with other dogs. She cannot do much damage with her teeth but we are concerned that another dog will get tired of her bullying and hurt her.
She is a really sweet goofy girl. She has strong back legs and likes to justo up and pick apples from the tree.
