Georgina Bucket

Meet Georgina Bucket!

Georgina is one of six German Shepherd mix siblings from the Wonka crew ;-) . They were born November 17 so they are teens now.

Georgina and two of her sisters are still available for adoption :-( . The girls are potty trained to a dog door and have been training with our volunteer dog trainer. These girls have been socialized with lots of children from the time they were small puppies. They are very sweet dogs. Because they are a shepherd mix, they are instinctively protective of their people and their home.

Much of what drives the guarding behavior in a dog is fear, and these girls are sensitive dogs. They are incredibly sweet and affectionate with their human and in their home. They are not overtly gregarious with strangers (think "Don't take candy from strangers" ;-)) If you are home alone a lot and want to feel safe and protected, any of these three girls are going to make fantastic companions.

**Please note: Indigo Rescue only adopts to homes within 30 miles of Beaverton, Oregon. The first part of our process is to have you complete our adoption application. This helps us make compatible matches. You can find the application on our indigorescue.org website under the Adoption tab. We’ll get back to you from there. Thank you!
