Georgie's Story

***Georgie is in a foster home right now, so she is not at the kennel. If you are interested in her, please fill out the application at K9stray.com and we will be in touch. Thank you.***

What beautiful little lady Georgie is. She is estimated to be about 4 months old and weighs 25 pounds.

Georgie went right into foster when she came to the rescue as she was so young and quite shy. What a sweet girl and she is just blossoming in her foster home, she loves having a doggy sibling to cuddle with and show her the ropes, so another dog in the home is a must. A family to continue to help her learn and grow is just what she needs. Georgie also needs someone who is home a lot as she is still just a baby.

Her foster mom has so many wonderful things to say about her:

Georgie is the definition of laid-back, gentle and loving. She is shy at first, but once she gains trust, she loves to cuddle up and be close to her people. She is a social butterfly who loves other dogs and is good with cats. She would do best in a home where any kids are at least 8 years old. She hasn't had any accidents in 5 days, obviously with an adjustment to her life like a new home she may reverse a little, but she's really smart.

I know she came in really shy, but we have had a lot of people over to help socialize her and she started going right up to them for sniffs, which is amazing!

She also knows her name, come, go to bed, sit and down.

She has been, of the many foster puppies we have had, one of the easiest to date. She is so smart and wants to blend in as part of the family.

If you are interested in Georgie and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
