Georgie was rescued during the Pacific Palisades fire, found in shock and covered in soot. She was matted, underweight, and quiet, clearly having been through a lot. The rescue held onto her well beyond the normal stray period, hoping an owner would come forward—but after six months, it became clear that Georgie was meant to start a brand-new chapter.<br/><br/>Also known as Georgina when she’s feeling fancy, this girl is effortlessly cool. She’s generally calm and easygoing, but don’t be fooled—she loves her walks and will happily chase a squirrel if given the chance. Georgie appears to be a terrier–poodle mix, with the intelligence of a poodle and the classic terrier coat (she is not hypoallergenic).<br/><br/>We estimate Georgie is about 5 years old and she weighs around 30 pounds. She is now fully vetted—spayed, vaccinated, and has had a dental—and is healthy, happy, and ready to leave her trauma behind.
