Georgie's Story

Meet Georgie!

This 2 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix is a sweet, slow moving gentleman who came to us from Virginia alongside his sister, Mandy. At 26 pounds of mellow charm, Georgie is the definition of “low-key companion.” He loves nothing more than quietly following his people around the house, soaking up gentle affection and curling up for cozy lap cuddles when the moment feels right. Georgie enjoys simple pleasures like chewing on his beloved Pork Chomps, surveying his yard like a calm little king and avoiding any and all puppy chaos. He’s not a fan of speedy, bouncy youngsters and would much prefer a peaceful environment to match his quiet nature. Georgie is a polite, easygoing boy who takes his preventatives tucked in cheese, tolerates nail trims even if they aren’t his favorite, and is fully house trained. He’s still working on crate training, but with patience and routine he’s making progress. While he hasn’t yet been tested with children, men, or cats, his preference for calm surroundings and space means he’d likely thrive in a quieter, kid free home. Short strolls, a soft dog bed, a small yard to wander and a mellow human to love, those are the things that make Georgie happiest.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal shadow who brings peace, comfort and quiet companionship to your home, Georgie just might be your perfect match.

#DoggoneHappyAnimalRescue
