Georgia's Story

Georgia came to us after living in a truck with six other dogs while caring for a litter of puppies. She was extremely protective of them at first, but once she realized she was safe, her sweet and affectionate side really began to shine. Georgia loves people, enjoys attention, and does well with kids. She also plays well with other dogs outside of her kennel. She is naturally protective of her space and shows strong barrier protectiveness, meaning she can be very serious about guarding her kennel or fence line. Because of this, her future home should understand that she will take her job of protecting her home and family seriously, and visitors should not reach through fences or barriers toward her. With the right owner who understands her protective nature, Georgia will be an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. She's a beautiful girl who has waited a long time for someone to give her the chance she deserves.
