Georgia’s story began at a construction site, where she and several other dogs were abandoned before being rescued. Despite her rough start, this sweet girl has blossomed into a gentle, affectionate companion. She’s laid back, loves to cuddle, and has the kind of easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. When she’s not snuggled up with her people, Georgia enjoys wading in the shallow end of the pool to cool off. Sunnyside Street Dogs's Adoption Policy

Application is received and reviewed. References will be checked. A home visit in person or on face time will be completed at a mutually convenient time. After the adoption fee paid, the dog or puppy can be picked up or transported. Transportation is included in the adoption fee if you live outside of Texas. The availability of transport company, foster or volunteer transporter, and adopter will determine when the dog unites with their new forever person/people. If a dog/puppy goes to their forever home without being spayed or neutered, the adopter needs to sign a sterilization contract - promising they will get their dog/puppy spayed or neutered. Breed identification is an estimate by a veterinarian and volunteer staff as the rescue uses it's limited budget - of greatly valued funds (donations) - on veterinary care, preventative & prescription meds, food, treats, collars & tags.
