Georgia's Story

ELIGIBLE FOR PERMANENT FOSTER PROGRAM!

Georgia was confiscated by Animal Control when an animal hoarder was busted. She was among 140 dogs taken from the residence. Georgia may be small in size, but her heart is mighty and full of love just waiting to bloom. This resilient girl is learning what it means to be safe, loved, and truly seen. Because of her past, Georgia feels vulnerable around other dogs and would do best as your one-and-only pet, where she can soak up all the love without worry. She also has pannus (a manageable eye condition), so she wears her adorable Doggles when outside in the sun.

She’s still learning some of the basics of being a pet including how to channel her excitement (she can be a little mouthy when she’s overstimulated or unsure). Georgia will thrive in a home with structure, patience, and someone committed to consistent positive reinforcement as she builds her confidence and continues to learn.

If you’re looking for a quirky, loving companion who will reward your patience with devotion and personality in spades, Georgia might just be your perfect match.
