Georgia's Story

When we first heard of Georgia, she was a skin and bones FIFTEEN POUND 8 month old pup found as a stray and brought to the local shelter. She is now over a year old, completely healthy, smart as a whip and ready to go on any adventure.

Georgia prefers to be the only dog in a home (we can't imagine what she went through to be as skinny as she was!). She is kid friendly, house trained, knows sit, watch me and back up. She is good motivated and eager to learn even more.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information.

Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Raising The Bar Animal rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).

Our out of state adoption fee is $150 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:

https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/RTB/Dog

Note: RTB reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal.
