Georgia's Story
Prairie Pooches Rescue has the sweet Georgia ready to find her forever home! Here is what her foster mom has to say:

She joined our rescue on November 3rd, and was a spitfire from the get go.

We did have a set back. She tested positive for Parvovirus but after a 2 day stay at our favourite veterinarian , she was able to come back and continue to thrive and grow.

She has doubled her weight, so you could say she is food motivated.
But she loves everything about life; toys, shoes, other dogs( especially their ears).

She sleeps in her kennel at night and while I’m at work .

She’s had a few accidents in the house but is 80% house trained.

She hasn’t had any leash training because we aren’t able to go out in public places yet but we will start in backyard in near future.

She’s a very confident little girl who likes to boss the other dogs around and they let her do it, so a playmate would be a bonus for her.

She’s super smart and is a quick learner so if you are willing to put in the work, you’ll have an amazing companion for life.

She’s hasn’t been around children so I wouldn’t recommend small children unless you are willing to set boundaries for both of them.

Her spay appointment is December 8 and then she can move on to her forever home.

She has a big personality and will make you laugh or maybe shake your head at her antics. If interested please apply from www.prairiepoochesrescue.com

Prairie Pooches Rescue is a volunteer and foster based rescue. All our dogs are in foster homes and approved adopters are required to meet the dogs at the foster homes.

Adoption fee is $350. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinations UTD, dewormed and microchipped. Adoption applications and home visits are done for all adoptions. Please fill out an application if interested on our website www.prairiepoochesrescue.com

****Due to an overwhelming amount of emails and phone calls we receive we will only respond to ones that have an application attached.
