Meet Georgia! Georgia is an approximately 1-year-old Pomsky who may be petite at 30 pounds, but has a big personality. In a true Husky fashion, Georgia is playful and affectionate, with just a splash of sass.<br/><br/>Georgia was found wandering a local neighborhood for several weeks and was understandably unsure about life in general when she was finally captured. Thankfully, she quickly discovered the joys of being a house dog and has blossomed in her foster home. She is now a sweet, loving girl who enjoys being around her people and canine friends.<br/><br/>Georgia can be a little reserved when it comes to physical affection. She absolutely loves having her face and neck scratched, giving kisses, and climbing into your lap to ask for attention, but she isn't always comfortable with full-body handling. So a home with kids 13+ would be ideal for her. She is very social with her humans and visitors when she's in a familiar environment, but she needs a little time to warm up when visiting new places.<br/><br/>As you might expect from a Husky mix, Georgia has a prey drive and would not be a good match for cats or dogs under 15 pounds. However, she absolutely adores the two medium-sized dogs in her foster home and is very playful and dog-friendly with them. She loves to wrestle, chase, and run zoomies around the yard, and she does a little happy dance when it's time to go outside. Georgia has a large-and-in-charge personality with other dogs and isn't afraid to let them know when she's ready for the fun to end and it's time for a nap on the couch. She is very appropriate about setting boundaries and would do best with a canine companion who is tolerant of that. She's a wonderful mix of playful and couch potato once she gets a little energy out.<br/><br/>Georgia would do well with a securely fenced yard- or regular leash walks- as her Husky instincts mean she may be tempted to go exploring if given the opportunity. She is still building confidence on a leash, but is about 90% of the way there. She already enjoys walks around the neighborhood or at the park. Georgia would love a family who will let her continue gaining confidence at her own pace. If you're looking for a goofy adventure buddy with a fun-loving personality, Georgia is your girl!
