Georgia's Story
Georgia was born at SNIP rescue in Yreka. We have been working with her since May 2021. She was returned at 9 months because the older resident dog was attacking her and increasing in frequency.
She has been doing very well with us. She would be best with someone who understands dogs, more than a novice. She walks well on leash with a FREEDOM Harness. She loves to hike, swim, chase squirrels and hang out with other dogs. She is learning horses, goats, ducks and chickens and is highly redirectable. She travels very well in a car. She loves her bones. Georgia is getting better with her recall. She requires kindness and consistency in her training as she appears to have been punished for a delayed return. She is only a puppy still, even though she is big. Patience and rewards does wonders for her. She loves her rope balls too.
Georgia had a veterinarian wellness check early July and was cleared orthopedically. She is a health, friendly, exuberant pup who requires either acreage to roam or an active family who understands her exercise needs.
Optimal home only. Home check required. We will board Georgia post adoption for a fee. See Rover.
