George is a 10-month-old terrier boy with a BIG heart, a playful spirit, and the snuggliest personality you could ever hope for. He’s young, full of joy, and loves nothing more than being close to his people — ideally curled right up in your lap. George is an energetic little guy who enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. He LOVES kids and gravitates toward them naturally — in his foster home, he went straight to the child in the room before anyone else! He gets along beautifully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a young, playful dog friend in his forever home. This sweet boy is also quite affectionate and a bit clingy in the cutest way. If you’re sitting down, George sees that as an invitation to snuggle. He’ll sit on your lap, get as close to your face as possible, and happily stay there for as long as you’ll let him. <br/><br/>George is housetrained, sleeps snuggled up in bed at night, and has been fine in a crate when needed. On walks, he greets people happily and just needs a little encouragement leaving the house when he’s feeling unsure. Car rides can be a bit scary for him outside of the crate, but with time and gentle reassurance, he’ll continue to gain confidence. He does need some guidance around resource guarding when sharing food with other dogs, so adopters should be mindful of feeding separately and continuing positive training around this. George is currently healing from a previous head wound — it wasn’t his fault and is well on its way to recovery.
