Geordie's Story
Geordie is a sweet boy who gets along with familiar dogs. He will play for hours with his buddies but Geordie finds introductions challenging. He would flourish in a home where there aren't different dogs coming and going. He is housebroken (as long as he's not distracted before he does his business), crate trained, good on a leash, good with people, and very affectionate. He's neutered and fully vaccinated and microchipped, and he's currently on heartworm and flea prevention.

Geordie was abandoned and brought to the county shelter, where his current foster mama rescued him. He was submissive with all dogs in the home and didn't show his protectiveness until new foster dogs arrived. He also shows some aggression when dogs walk by his cage when he is boarding at the vet. However, he still loves all the dogs at his foster home, so we think he could be integrated into a multi-dog household by an experienced owner. Otherwise, if you want a great hiking partner, protector, and companion, but only plan on having a single dog, Geordie is your boy!

If you're interested in learning more about him, please fill out an application here: https://arfhumane.org/arf-adoption-application/

You will be contacted by his foster parent.
