Based on the scars and wounds she had when we rescued her, we believe she spent her life in a crate and used only for breeding. Her owners likely discarded her when they were done with her. But you’d never know the pain she has endured from the way she greets the world now – with joy, love, and an irresistible zest for life.<br/><br/>Despite everything she’s been through, Genny is a happy, loving girl who adores people, other dogs, and even cats. She’s got a gentle soul and a desire to please. She enjoys playing catch, responds to her name, and knows several simple commands like “sit,” “down,” “stay,” and “wait.” She’s crate trained and will enter her crate easily when asked. She is always down for a walk, cuddles, adventures, or rolling in the grass.<br/><br/>Genesee is the perfect blend of playful and calm. She’s happy to snuggle on the couch or explore the yard.
