Gemma's Story

Gemma is a very pretty "gem" of a German Shepherd girl who was running back and forth on Tower Road before she made it to the shelter. Several kind, concerned people tried to help her by providing food and water. Gemma has settled in to the routine at the shelter, has become comfortable and confident, and enjoys her walks. She will be a wonderful companion, given the time, patience, and attention to get comfortable in her new home. She has an extremely nice demeanor and a soft presence.
