At just 6 months old, Gemma is already showing how smart, sweet, and adaptable she is.<br/><br/>She’s doing wonderfully with crate training and was sleeping through the night by her third day in foster care. She rests peacefully in her crate near her humans and likes to know someone is nearby — no need for cuddling, just a reassuring presence is all she asks.<br/><br/>Gemma is polite and calm during baths (she aced her first one like a pro!) and walks beautifully on leash — She requires very little correction, enjoys short strolls, and maintains a loose leash with ease.<br/><br/>This lovely girl is dog- and cat-friendly, and while she hasn’t met any children yet, she’s been gentle and shy-but-curious with adults. She warms up quickly to new people, regardless of gender, and will likely blossom with a bit of patience and kindness.<br/><br/>Gemma’s one area of hesitation? Car rides. They’re not her favorite just yet — she gets a little drooly and nervous, but she settles down and stays calm. With time and positive experiences, she may grow more comfortable.<br/><br/>This sweet pup hasn’t had much free roam of the house yet, but her crate and leash manners show she’s well on her way to becoming a confident and well-rounded companion.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a gentle, trainable, and affectionate young shepherd to grow with your family, Gemma may be your perfect match!<br/><br/>When applying to adopt one of our puppies, please remember :<br/><br/>Up to the age of 8 months old, puppies cannot be left alone for a standard 8-9 work day.<br/><br/>Arrangements will have to be in place for 4 hour intervals until the pups are at least 8 months old.<br/><br/>Having someone with them every 4 hours until they are older greatly facilitates the housebreaking process as well as assists with the general socialization of your pup!<br/><br/>If you are not yet approved to adopt from All Shepherd Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.allshepherdrescue.com. Our adoption fee is $350.00
