I am almost 3yrs old, spayed female, Pitbull Mix. I have been searching for my unicorn owner for almost 18 months, that is over 500 days, during that time, this amazing shelter team, helped me get healthy, helped me become confident, helped me understand that even though my previous owners starved me, beat me and abandoned me, not all humans are like that. With the help of this team and wonderful volunteers I have become the best dog. I would prefer a home with a big backyard, maybe on some acreage, I prefer woman over men and children are not for me. I know there is someone out there who would be willing to visit me a few times and see just how wonderful I am. <br/><br/><br/>My adoption fee is $200. Sponsored by Private Donor. Homeward Bound Pets's Adoption Policy
1/1/2024: We are open to the public for cats Thursday-Saturday from 10am-3:30pm, our dogs are by appointment only. To adopt one of our animals, you will need to do and bring the following: 1. Meet and Greet with animal you are interested in. 2. Bring proof of home ownership (mortgage statement), if renting, then authorization from landlord on company letter head, you will also need their phone number for us to verify. (animal will not be adopted without this information) 3. Picture ID 4. If adopting a cat, you will need a carrier, or you can purchase a card board carrier from us. 5. Adoption fee in credit/debit or cash, we no longer accept checks. 6. If adopting a dog, you must bring other dogs in your home Please if adopting bring all family members that are living in house, so we can make sure everyone is a good fit.
