Gemma's Story

Gemma is a 7-year-old American pitbull. She is a very gentle soul who knows her ABC's and her P's and Q's.

She enjoys toys, car rides, and hiking, and doesn't require extensive exercise (an hour or an hour and a half at a time usually tuckers her out).

She is good with other dogs, but is definitely more of a "people" dog and is looking for somebody who either works at home or stays at home who will incorporate her into their lives. She has never met a stranger, just extremely friendly to everybody.

Gemma likes a quiet environment and would do well as an only dog (she was clearly somebody's pampered pet at some point in time) or with one other dog of similar age and demeanor who is established in the home and can show her the ropes.

She is very smart and eager to please, and I personally find her to be a joy to have around.

If you're interested in meeting Gemma, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.

Alternatively, we can arrange a Private Meet-and-Greet with the foster parent and your household with a completed application. Complete an easy, no-obligation online application and take the first step towards welcoming Gemma into your home by clicking on this link https://form.jotform.com/222028369049155

The $250 adoption fee covers all vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, and heartworm/tick-borne illness testing.
