Gavin's Story

Breed: Border Collie/Retriever Mix
Color: Black/White
Born: April 2019 Est
Sex: Male
Vaccinations: Current
Heartworm: Negative
Adoption Fee: $225

Gavin and his brother Gordy were turned into the Mesquite Animal Shelter when found as strays. Clearly brothers, we know nothing of their heritage or their exact date of birth, but the shelter estimated them to be born around April 2019. As the shelter continued to fill up, they became at risk of euthanasia so we pulled them into our adoption program.

Both of these boys are happy, playful guys who want to please. Already crate trained, they wait their turn to go outside to play and have been very well behaved. We don’t believe they need to be adopted together and either pup would make a great companion for a family with a nice sized back yard and maybe a playmate. This breed mix is also excellent at agility and sports like Flyball. Never seen Flyball? Ask! We’ll show you!
