Gator's Story

How this pet arrived: Gator was brought in by their previous owner on August 2, 2026. Why this pet is the one for you: Meet Gator, a sweet and friendly dog in search of a loving home of his own! Gator can be a tad shy with new faces, but once he gets to know you he quickly transforms into a trusting, mellow and cuddly companion. Spend a little time with him and you'll see his loyalty and love shine through - he relaxes, his eyes soften and he becomes happy and comfortable with his new friend! While at the shelter, Gator has been on several all-day outings with volunteers and received rave reviews, showing little apprehension toward strangers or other dogs. Visiting a home, he rolled on the carpet grinning ear-to-ear, enjoying domestic bliss, stopping only to receive pets and a belly rub! His sweet and loving nature makes him a perfect companion at home and outside on leash exploring the world! Adopting Gator means gaining a friend who is ready to roll - preferably on your carpet - and who will cherish every moment of your company. Gator will thrive best as the only dog in your home and with children 6 and older. If he sounds like the right pup for you, come meet him today! At SDHS:Gator has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home! Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Black Weight: 48.25lbs Age: 6yrs 2mths 1wks Animal has been Neutered
