Gaston's Story

*Located in Newhall, IA (30 mins east of Cedar Rapids*<br/>Meet Gaston! Mom was a GSD & dad was a Malinois/Dutchie mix. All the puppies in this litter are high drive and high energy. They will need experienced homes that will give them a job to do. They will need owners that have the time and resources to commit to training and exercising them. Gaston was born 10/10/25. Gaston is a grown up dog in a puppy body! He was the only boy out of a litter of 8 and took his role of protector of all his sisters seriously. He really needs a home with structure and someone committed to training. He has a good amount of drive and would do well in a sport home and would love a job like nosework, barnhunt, agility, etc. He does well with other dogs but does tends to lean more dominant. He will need an experienced owner that will have the ability to spend a lot of time socializing and training him, due to that we would not recommend kids at this point. He would do well with a confident female dog to show him the ropes and or a less dominant male. He is sweet and affectionate and a really nice puppy that wants a job to do! He can lack some confidence in new situations but does overcome quickly. He will need an owner that has the time to socialize him and make him into the best big boy that he will be! He has been raised with kids, cats, dogs, horses and goats. He is currently working on kennel training and potty training. He loves to go on walks!
