Gary

Gary is a sweet, friendly little 10 year old Yorkie-mix who was found in deplorable condition as a stray and taken to the local shelter. Due to his age and condition, the shelter asked for assistance, so Misty Eyes brought him into our foster program to provide him treatment he needed. On intake, he was extremely dirty, flea-infested, anemic and malnourished. He has been on a regulated, nutritious diet to improve his condition and has been treated for a parasite induced skin infection. Gary tolerates other dogs and even cats, but does not interact with them. He will be grumpy if a dog tries to be playful with him. He is friendly to new people, but isn't really a lap dog. He wants to be with his person/people, but prefers lounging in a doggy bed. He has good house manners if taken out on a regular basis to potty.
