Garrett 's Story

This handsome boy is the perfect mix of laid-back cuddlebug and full-speed zoomie machine! At about 45 pounds and just a year old, he’s still got plenty of puppy energy—followed by some serious nap time. He seems to have some herding breed in him, so he occasionally likes to “direct traffic,” but the other dogs mostly shrug him off. He may do fine with a confident cat who runs the household—Garrett is quick to back down when someone stands their ground.

Squirrels and bunnies love to taunt him from the other side of the fence, and he has hopped a shorter fence to try to join their fun (don’t worry—he didn’t run off). A secure 5–6 ft fence would be a great fit for this athletic guy. Looking for an agility partner? Garrett could be your star!

He’s kennel-trained, potty-trained, and uses a doggie door like a pro. Neutered and up to date on vaccines, Garrett is ready to find his purpose—and he thinks it just might be you. His adoption fee is $135. Our Mission
Noah’s Hope started rescuing Siouxland animals in 2007. We became a registered non-profit organization in 2010, and we opened our Thrift Store at 26th and Myrtle to help support our work. Our all-volunteer group has always focused on underdogs. We rescue the dogs animal shelters consider hopeless: the old, the sick and inju...
