Garland

Garland is a 4 month old pup who is originally from the island of St. Croix. We estimate that she will be around 30 pounds when full grown and is long and low! We have NO idea what breeds make up this adorable girl, but she does show signs of some herding dog types as she is independent, active, intelligent and loves to follow your feet closely and weave around you when you walk. Even though she started in the tropics, she acclimated quickly to our cold, snowy temps and LOVES them! She has no problem keeping up with her large, active foster dog siblings on snowy hikes in Litchfield county. This girl is tough! She is ready for a life filled with outdoor fun and adventure. She is learning the routines of being in a home quickly but is not yet fully housebroken. She is smart however and is catching on quickly. She is a puppy and with that comes puppy things like being a little mouthy when playing, so we need people who are ready to take on the training that comes with puppy raising.
