Our sweet baby Garland! (Est. DOB January 2019) We found Garland with her siblings and Mama after they were dumped in the middle of nowhere as puppies. She was by far the shyest of the bunch, and sadly, she is the only one that hasn’t been adopted after all these years. Garland is the sweetest girl once she gets to know you, but she is painfully shy at first and takes time to warm up to new people. Garland needs a very understanding forever home with someone who realizes that she will take some time to come around and warm up and learn what it means to be in a home, but once she does, you will have a once-in-a-lifetime love. Garland walks well on a leash and would do well in a quiet home with a yard where she could fall into a routine with her family, roam and explore, and enjoy snoozing on the couch. Because of her shy and skittish nature, we would recommend a home with no smaller kiddos. Garland can be a bit unsure of other dogs and would definitely need to meet any potential canine friends prior to adoption, and we would be happy to cat test her for any interested families.
