Garfunkel's Story
When Garfunkel decides you're his friend, he's all in. Forever.

Think about that.

A husky wandering alone in rural Oklahoma who got picked up by animal control because he was hungry enough to help himself to someone's peacocks. He ended up in a loud, crowded shelter and landed on the euthanasia list because there simply wasn't enough space. Imagine how scary that was for him.

And yet he is full of loyalty and love.

He's the kind of dog who would absolutely lend you his last dollar for the vending machine if he had pockets.

Once you're part of his circle, Garfunkel is loyal to the core.

At around 4 years old, Garfunkel is a medium-high energy husky with plenty to say. He loves chatting and hanging out with his people.

He's a little shy around new people but patience and snacks go a long way.

He's also a favorite around the rescue. Whether he's leaning his butt into the grooming dryer for a good scratch or reminding everyone that he is, in fact, a baby despite being a large adult husky, Garfunkel has a way of making us all smile.

Thank you for being our friend, Garfunkel.

Iff you need a friend, Garfunkel needs a family of his own.
#supportrescue #huskyrescue #adopt
