Say hello to gorgeous Gambit! He joined us from a state police cruelty case but is not letting that get him down. Instead, he’s looking forward to a bright future and someone special to share it with. Gambit has spent several months learning how to just be a dog and has blossomed into a wonderful, and sometimes quirky, middle-age boy (past the naughty puppy stage!). He’s estimated to be about 9 years old, but you would never know it! He has lots of great energy and would love someone active to explore the world with. Some of his favorite things are long walks, a soft place to nap, smelly treats, his crate, trying to break the world record of ripping stuffing out of a toy, and his foster mom. Actually, Gambit loves women in general. Okay, we’ll be honest, he’s a full fledged “ladies man”. The good news is, he’s a stayer, not a player! As for men, he can be nervous around them. This is something he is working on and any men in his life will need to be patient and understanding. Of course, he’d be totally cool with having a new lady all to himself too!

Gambit’s forever home would be kid and kitty free. He does love to play with his canine foster brother and would welcome a doggie sibling but will need a family committed to taking things slow. This hunk didn’t get the right kind of socialization when he was younger, so this is all new to him! He would also be perfectly content to be your one and only. Most importantly, he needs structure, a good leader, and a family committed to helping him live his very best life.
